Harriet Gershman, a Certified Educational Planner, is the founder of Academic Counseling Services, Inc.
For over 30 years, she and her staff have worked privately with families to find the best educational opportunities for their students. Ms. Gershman is a member of the Idependent Educational Consultants Association. She has served the IECA as a member of the National Board of Directors, the Ethics Committee, the Committee on Restructuring and Long Range Planning as well as other national roles. Additionally, she is the founding member of the American Institute of Certified Educational Planners, a member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling and the Secondary School Admissions Test Board. She holds a Masters of Science Degree in Counseling and Personal Services from Purdue University. Today, she is a recognized leader in the field of educational consulting.
