Ms. Gershman is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association. She has served the IECA as a member of the National Board of Directors, the Ethics Committee, the Committee on Restructuring and Long Range Planning as well as many other national roles. Additionally, she is a founding member of the American Institute of Certified Educational Planners, a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Secondary School Admissions Test Board. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Personal Services from Purdue University and previously served for many years as a teacher and community leader.
