About Alexa Altman, Ph.D.
I have a gentle, nurturing approach to therapy, where my goal is to connect clients to their own sense of resilience and their unique internal healing
After earning my doctorate with a focus in Health Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, I went on to serve as a consulting psychologist for the hit NBC show The Biggest Loser.
My clinical approach draws from my extensive training in mind/body interventions such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, biofeedback and mindfulness meditation. Currently, I see clients in my Silverlake office, a psychotherapy collective, and in my West Los Angeles office.
