About Etowah Lions Club
Service oriented civic organization
Chartered in 1954, The Etowah Lions Club has been instrumental in the community and worldwide. The club provides sight services, referrals and financial aid for those needing glasses. We are proudly known in the community as the ones who made a Park possible. Helped to start the Volunteer Fire Department, lobbied for the Bank and Post Office to be located in our community. Started the Etowah Library. Sponor youth softball, band boosters, project graduation and other youth oriented programs or projects. We support Lions International worldwide in their efforts to restore or prevent blindness in third world countries. A group of men and women, working together to be "Beacons of Hope to Others".
