About Greater Gallatin United Way
Local non-profit in the health and human services sector. We serve Gallatin, Madison, Meagher & Park counties in SW Montana.
Our mission is "To improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities." We work for our community -- listening, compiling data, leading community conversations, motivating and inspiring volunteers, organizing collaborative efforts, and pursuing resources and partners to implement strategies that deliver measurable results -- positive community impact and long-term change. These strategies are not limited to only funding programs.
Our initiatives fall under three community goals:
- Education: Keeping kids on track to achieve their full potential.
- Health: Increasing knowledge, resources, access, and opportunities
- Income: Fulfilling basic needs, stabilizing people in crisis, & building self-sufficiency
