About Army Public Affairs Center
The U.S. Army Public Affairs Center (APAC) is the proponent for all things related to the Army's public affairs programs.
Each career field of the Army has a proponent which tests, analysis, and justifies the personnel, equipment, doctrine, education and business structure and practices of that field; APAC serves that function for Army Public Affairs. For example, APAC tests new digital video and photography equipment, computers, and the software used in editing and the distribution of finished products. APAC is also involved in the training and education of public affairs Soldiers, the doctrine under which they operate in the Army, and the structure of public affairs within the Armya??s ranks.
