About Comprehensive Guitar Instruction
Going on 22 years teaching experience. Lessons on guitar,bass,banjo.I teach a good understanding of instrument and music. All aspects/levels/ages.
I teach at Funky Munky Music 12710 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Shawnee, KS. Hours are M-Th 1:30-9:00, Fri 1:30-7:00 and Sat 9am to 5:30pm. I specialize in a good understanding of the instrument and music. Much emphasis on technique to be able to play as effortlessly as possible. I like to have fun which makes for a more enjoyable experience for students. Aspects taught include: Music/tab reading, good rhythm, fingerpicking, lead, scales, modal/chordal theory, shredding, sweeping, slap n pop on bass, Earl Scruggs, melodic, chromatic styles on banjo, much more! Genres include: blues, all styles of rock, funk, country, contemporary christian, classical, jazz, more.
