About RiteCare of Washington
We are a nonprofit providing free speech/language therapy for children between the ages of two and seven.
10% of preschool children have a speech or language delay. And it doesn't matter what your socio-economic background is - it can affect ALL children. Private speech therapy is expensive and often out of reach for even dual-income families. Insurance barely covers the cost or limits visits. And that is where RiteCare comes in. We provide this serivice to all families, for free. Children are seen up to twice a week and when they "graduate", they are caught up to their peers and able to communicate effectively.
Imagine if you couldn't understand your two year old. You didn't know what they wanted, how they were feeling, what they were afraid of - all because their communication was delayed. Now imagine being the child - all alone because no one understood you. We take care of that.
