About Stitched Whimsey's
I create special Baby Quilts. And wall hangings for all genders. My quilts are personal and hand sewn. Some are embellished if desired and appliqued.
I have been sewing for over 40 years. I started with my girls and haven't seemed to be able to stop. I love making baby quilts and wall hangings for their rooms. The Quilts I create are from cheater panels and my own design. They can be appliqued, embellished or just plain stitched with shiny embroidery thread. Each one is unique in it's own way.I sew them with ruffles and binding and even with pipping.I try to find unique fabrics and backings to make them stand out and it seems everyone loves them.It is a life long project for me and am willing to try to meet everyones desire. I can add the names and birth dates and other information new mommies want. These quilts make heirloooms for the family or simply something for baby to adore and drag around. Hope you enjoy them
