Nouveau Law LLC finds its inspiration from the Art Nouveau movement dating from the early 20th Century. The term Art Nouveau (meaning "New Art") initially appeared in the late 1800's in the Belgian journal L'Art Moderne to describe the work of Les Vingt-a group of twenty painters and sculptors that sought reform through art. As Art Nouveau developed, it came to reflect both a distinctive style and a novel approach to art, architecture and the applied arts. During the Art Nouveau period, artists expressly sought to challenge tradition and break connections from classical modes of thinking. Artists endeavored to make art a part of everyday life, and the meaning of art was eventually redefined to include both utilitarian and everyday objects.
