Behavioral Medicine Associates' Psychologists provide services as part of the injured worker's New York State Workers' Compensation Program. We have offices in the five boroughs of New York (Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, & SI) Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk counties) and upstate NY (Westchester country). We treat injured workers suffering from conditions such as anxiety disorders (post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, and phobias) depression, relationship issues, anger, stress, sleep disorders, pain disorders, work problems, grief and loss. Treatments may include cognitive behavioral therapy, self-instructional training, exposure therapy, relaxation training, meditation, mindfulness training, acceptance and psychosocial support.
