About Fredericksburg Area Food Bank
We are a non-profit hunger relief organization and a member of Feeding America.
Vision: Creating a Hunger Free Community
The Fredericksburg Area Food Bank helps to provide nutritious food to over 60,000 people each year through our network of over 70 non-profit & faith based organizations throughout the community.
In 2010, the Food Bank collected and distributed over 3.2 million lbs. of food & other grocery products; the equivalent of over 2.5 million meals provided to those in need.
We are members of Feeding America, a national organization supporting more than 200 Food Banks across the country and the largest domestic hunger relief agency in the United States.
Mission: To aid partner agencies in meeting the needs of the hungry in the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline, King George & the City of Fredericksburg as well as neighboring communities.
