About St. Vincent & Sarah Fisher Center
Personalized, free education programs for at-risk children and adults (GED) in Detroit with focus on self-esteem and skill building.
For almost 170 years, St. Vincent & Sarah Fisher Center has served the needs of Southeastern Michigan. Due to a reduction in funding, the previous residential center closed in 2005 and the organization changed focus to meet an essential need of the area. Now based in Detroit, we provide free, individualized educational programs for children (to off-set learning gaps from public schooling) and adults (GED and continuing education/career counseling).
