About Sister Communities Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse
SCCADA's mission is to provide those services necessary to encourage and promote the return of individuals and families to healthy productive lives.
SCCADA is a nonprofit organization providing a coordinated approach for prevention, education and intervention services throughout the East Texas region relating to substance abuse. Through school based and community based programs,Current programs of SCCADA:
Youth Prevention Program-school based program providing prevention education, alternative activities and early identification and screening for students in area elementary, middle andh high schools.
Community Assistance Program-community based program connecting individuals and families in need of susbtance abuse treatment services to the most appropriate level of care.
Drug Free Communiites Coalition-keeping kids drug free.
CAMP SCCADA-camp program for middle school youth during spring break and summer.
