About Smart Mommies Education Foundation, Inc.
Non-profit organization providing mom-to-mom support and promoting positive parenting and social interaction.
We are working to create a community education organization that teaches mothers by
?providing an accessible, structured support system for new and expectant mothers;
?facilitating the transferring of mothering skills from one women directly to another;
?increasing the level of support for new mothers once they are home with their babies;
?ensuring access to appropriate and quality breastfeeding related products for breastfeeding mothers;
?bridging the gap between Medical Personnel and community breastfeeding counselors;
?preventing isolation of new mothers and helping them adjust to their new role in the community;
?ensuring access to quality parenting information for all mothers;
?ensuring that mothers are aware of all the local resources available to help them.
