About Girl Scouts of Central California South
Helping girls realize their full potential and become strong, confident, and resourceful citizens who make the world a better place.
Girl Scouts of Central California South, formed in 2008 through a merger between the Golden Valley and Joshua Tree Councils, serves more than 12,500 girls and 3,000 adult volunteers in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, and Tulare counties, including 6,000 girls served through its Outreach Program. The Council's vision is that every girl, everywhere, should be able to reach her full potential through programs that teach leadership and practical life skills.
