About NW Historical Perspectives and Events
Nonprofit established to research, educate and promote the "untold" history of the Pacific Northwest.
NW Historical Perspectives and Events (NWHPE) is a volunteer organization working to research and preserve the forgotten or hidden history of the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is to instill pride by making this history accessible to all. We are professionally trained to make the connections between the historical events, persons and places to help promote "heritage tourism" and to aid with the historical preservation of endangered heritage sites. NWHPE promotes commemorative events in the community to use place and memory in honoring the contributions of our ancestors and founders who helped to develop our unique communities in the Pacific Northwest.
