About Avivara
Avivara is a non-profit corporation and 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to improving the quality of and access to education in Guatemala.
To support our mission we fund the following programs:
1. School improvement grants to schools located in rural, poverty-impacted villages in Guatemala
2. Scholarships to Guatemalan students from rural villages wishing to continue their studies beyond 6th grade
3. Funding After-School Learning Centers to support students with special learning needs or who come from homes where the parents can neither read nor write.
