Big Hearted Books collects unwanted books, dvd's, cd's and other media through book donation bins or at home pick ups. They have bins throughout MA, NH, RI, ME and CT. The items are sorted through to find the best use for each item. Items are sold on-line with proceeds being shared with Big Hearted Books' fundraising partners, or are donated to town libraries, senior centers, prisons, schools and other groups in need. Items that are badly damaged or of no use to anyone are recycled. Big Hearted Books has kept over 100 tons of books out of landfills through it's recycling efforts to date.
