The Wedway Refrigeration Power System? provides power to operate a refrigerator or freezer unit on a refrigerated or "reefer" semi trailer without using any type of fossil fuel. This patent pending device generates electricity by capturing the kinetic energy from the rotation of the trailer wheels and converting it to a power source for refrigeration.
This same technology allows the power to be stored for use while the trailer is stationary for up to 10 hours. During an extended delivery the unit is able to be "plugged" into the store allowing it to be powered from the store and be fully charged upon departure, thus doing away with fuel and reducing the "carbon footprint" of each delivery.
