Daisy began in the family garage as a supplier of typewriter, dot matrix and wide printer ribbons and carbon paper. In early 1980, Daisy moved from the garage to a building in Rancho Cucamonga, where we stayed until 1987. From 1987-2002 Daisy was located in nearby Ontario, California, We returned to Rancho Cucamonga in February, 2003
Our corporate name, Daisy Wheel Ribbon Co., Inc. was a reflection of the products we sold. However, after the introduction of the Hp Laserjet printers in 1983 we began to see the 1st major shift in our business. It was several years before the daisy wheel neared obsolescence. While we still sell ribbons and daisy wheels, it was clear that a name change was in order. Our customers had for years called us Daisy Wheel but most simply call us Daisy. In 2005 we fi
