The Conservation Center is the nations largest private art lab and offers full service conservation for private collections and insurance claims.
The Conservation Center is the nation's largest fine art conservation laboratory. Our headquarters in Chicago has over 30,000 sq ft of space and more than twenty conservators on staff. We can conserve 2D and 3D works, wet and dry media, contemporary art and antique heirlooms: our departments include paintings, paper, sculpture, furniture, gilded frames, objects, textiles, historical documents, photos and more.
We are well served by not only a national network of fine art shippers, but our own transportation team, who can coordinate local pick-ups and deliveries. In situations which require our on-location services, a team of art handlers and conservators can be flown anywhere in the US. We specialize in large losses and respond quickly to all disasters, both national and regional.
