About Pretty In Ink

Stacey Byford is the only permanent makeup artist in Ulster County, NY who is certified by the American Academy of Micropigmentation.

Stacey uses sterile, single-use implements to implant hypoallergenic pigments into the skin. Before treatment, Stacey uses a topical anesthetic to keep her clients comfortable during the procedure. Most clients can return to their daily routine immediately after treatment. Stacey's approach is conservative; her goal is not to create the appearance of makeup, but rather to enhance her client's natural beauty. Permanent makeup is ideal for clients who have lost their brows or lashes from Alopecia or chemotherapy. It is also life-changing for clients with Vitiligo scarring. Most clients, however, simply wish to enhance their features, avoid loss or smudging of makeup throughout the day or simply obtain a more carefree approach to their morning regime.
