About Utah Emergency Medical Training Council
Provides Emergency Medical Training, advocacy and support in Utah and around the world. CPR, ACLS, PALS, HIPAA, and other training is available.
The Training Council teaches emergency medical training in Utah and around the world. Our mission is to make sure everyone has the skill and knowledge to appropriately respond to a personal medical emergency or a natural disaster. Our classes include CPR, FIRST AID, ACLS, PALS, HIPAA, Bloodborne pathogen and infection control, and more.
Located in the Cole Holland Training Center's building in Salt Lake City, students of the training council may also take more advanced courses such as EMT training too.
The evidence base supporting delivery of quality CPR is growing and significant attention has been focused on raising awareness and improving education amongst lay rescuers performing bystander CPR. But a growing a number of studies both in-hospital and out of hospital report that CPR per
