Fine Art Photography
One function of art is to inform culture, to help evolve the way we think, act and interact. Making photographs is one of the ways I participate in life. I explore my own humanity and place in this world, by observing the mysterious internal beauty, struggle, humor and irony, strength and vulnerability of others and our environment. I am drawn to photograph what moves me, what I find beautiful and life affirming, what resonates with my sense of grace and, in some cases, what conflicts with it.
I forget myself when I am shooting and become the object of my observation, swept by the continuum of interior and exterior space.
