K-8 Charter School specializing in gifted education.
Academy for Advanced and Creative Learning is a kindergarten through eighth grade school that specializes in gifted education with above-grade level concepts and vocabulary in every subject area. Families, students and teachers work together to set individual goals for each student's progress with recognition that some students may be above-grade level and even "gifted" in one or many areas, but not necessarily every subject. Multi-age classrooms, flexible skill groups for math and language arts, daily Fitness and Fun time, and Art, Music/Theater, and Spanish for every student are important features of this program. AcademyACL teachers emphasize hands-on, project-based learning, and they use highly challenging, highly supportive teaching methods.
