About Camp Tonkawa Outdoor Learning Center, Inc
We offer day, weekend and extended camps for all ages. Scouts, families and groups welcome.
We are a Nature Awareness Learning Center for Children and Adults that was founded by the Holtzman Family. The camp gives a great "hands on" experience in the great outdoors. It is located on a 35 acre tract of land about an hour drive north of Dallas Texas.
We offer a great range of classes and camps for all ages. Our mission is to reconnect mankind with nature with our "hands on" teaching of ancient Native American skills of nature awareness and primitive wilderness survival. Our horsemanship program connects man with this wonderful animal.
The Camp Tonkawa property is a certified wildlife refuge. Our woods of oak and junipers have plenty of trails, a small creek, fishing pond, swimming pond, pasture, organic garden, barn and a long house.
We offer group and family rates.
