Kansas vs. Missouri. One of the greatest, oldest and most heated rivalries in all of college athletics is revving up and going at it again with a new showdown: The Rivalry Run.
This 5k is a great way to represent your state and bring pride to your side of the border, while also raising funds and awareness to prevent domestic violence in the Kansas City community.
The Rivalry Run gives families living in a "house divided" and Kansas Citians living in a "city divided", an opportunity to put this long-standing rivalry to good use. It brings light to a subject often not spoken about in public. It gives victims encouragement to rise up. It brings Kansas City together as we run off domestic violence in unity.
