Handcrafted Wearable Art
Bird Mountain Creations is located in the foothills of the beautiful
Blue Ridge Mountains. Started in 2005, all jewelry is made by the husband and wife team of Lou and Pat Lorenz. Pat also makes unique hand-knitted items such as scarfs and fashion accessories.
From silversmithing to yarn spinning, many techniques are
used to make our wearable art pieces. Gemstones, pearls,
crystals, silver, copper, natural fibers, recycled and
repurposed components make up our creations. From hand-
dyed silk scarves, oversized handwoven shawls, knitted,
crocheted and felted accessories to hand-forged copper
bracelets, sterling rings and earrings, large statement
gemstone necklaces and guitar pick earrings.
