The mission of Culinary Communities is to increasing awareness of the importance of improving the eating habits of teens and young adults. Current trends are causing high obesity rates and increased occurance of diabetes at an earlier age. Our goal is to teach teens and young adults the consequences of their nutritional choices and the practices of current agri-business on the environment, and how they can change these habits. We offer after-school and summer culinary-based programs including building healthy emotional habits, inter-personal relationships, and maintaining healthy, natural environmental resources
