About Joshua's Place Inc
Joshua's Place is a home under development for 14 residents who are developmentally disabled and where they can live as independently as possible
Joshua's Place will be a home for persons with disabilities when they are no longer able to live with their family. Trained staff will provide supportive services, there will be a resident manager, and the home and grounds will provide accommodations similar to a private residence. The five acre site upon which it will be built is close to Peckham industries where many of the residents will work. Residents under 26 can still attend public school. Nearby churches are welcoming and will provide places for worship and other activities, such as Friendship programs. There will be no discrimination as to a persons religion, race, or ethnic background.
