Jim Bothwell has more than 15 years of sales experience (10 in advertising), but never with any product or service that brought such a measurable return on investment as this glossy, colorful savings magazine!
In the Fall of 2003, he collaborated with more than 30 local merchants and professionals and mailed 15,000 Valley Quarterly coupon magazines to homes in Amherst, MA and surrounding communities. Shortly thereafter, similar magazines with the same masthead but a different set of local advertisers went out to 15,000 Northampton-area homes.
Thanks to a carefully targeted distribution system, a great set of ads with attractive, convenient coupons, and front covers that appeal to most anyone, the results have been awesome and many of the original businesses continue to advertise in the
