About Goodnews River Lodge
The ONLY Fishing Lodge located on the Goodnews River in Southwest Alaska, with outstanding fishing for Pacific Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Dolly Varden
Located on the Goodnews River, a three branch wilderness river system located about 450 miles from Anchorage, at the edge of the Togiak National Wilderness Reserve and flowing into the Bering Sea in southwest Alaska. The River boasts outstanding runs of all 5 species of pacific salmon, sea run dolly varden, and resident leopard rainbows and grayling. We are a fixed camp right on the river just above tidewater, and are not a fly out camp. Guests stay in high tech elevated Weatherport tent/cabins. There are 6 bathrooms, each with hot showers, sinks and toilets. There is a heated drying room available for your gear so it is dry and ready for the next day's fishing. Gourmet meals are served in our dining and recreational facility. Our maximum capacity is 16-18 anglers per week.
