About Amelia River Excursions
Narrated, historic and wildlife sightseeing tours of NE Florida (Amelia Island) and Cumberland Island (home of the wild horses).
We offer three daily tours with a narrated history of Fernandina Beach, Florida (birthplace of the modern shrimping industry), Olde Towne, Ft. Clinch, and the northern part of Amelia Island; as well as that of Cumberland Island National Seashore, home to the Carnegie Dungeoness ruins and famous wild horses.
We are available for private events of all kinds and have three U.S. Coast Guard inspected vessels available to you. Our 80-passenger vessel is bathroom-equipped, handicap-accessible, bicycle and pet-friendly. Our 2 - 49-passenger vessels are handicap-accessible, pet-friendly and bathroom-equipped.
Food and beverage (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) allowed on board. All ages allowed and welcomed on public tours. Schedules vary with season - call the office at 904-261-9972.
