About The Schubert Club
Presents international and Minnesota artists in recital and chamber music concerts, a Museum of musical instruments and education programs.
The Schubert Club was founded in 1882 with a national reputation for high quality productions, presenting virtually all of the world's great recitalists-Jascha Heifetz, Arthur Rubinstein, Cecelia Bartoli, Beverly Sills and Yo-Yo Ma to name a few. Music in the Park Series, a renowned chamber music organization merged with The Schubert Club in 2010 presenting the world's finest chamber music artists in concert, education and outreach programs. The Schubert Club presents lectures, study groups and musical discussions. Project CHEER provides over 200 students with free piano and guitar lessons. The Schubert Club Museum is housed in St. Paul's Landmark Center, with a collection of historic instruments, composer letters and manuscripts and rotating galleries of world instruments.
