In the important role of liaison operating on the landlord/owner's behalf duties include responding to and addressing tenant issues, providing independent front line hands on professional service to the landlord/owner as buffer for desired distance between themselves and their tenant constituency.
Management of the accounts and finances as well as participating in or initiating litigation are considered separate functions set aside for trained accountants and attorneys wherein special attention is given to landlord/tenant law; most commonly evictions, non-payment, harassment, reduction of pre-arranged services, and public nuisance. Subjects that gain the most attention require being current with applicable municipal, county and state laws and practices.
