About Cochise Area Network of Therapeutic Equestrian Riding
The Cochise Area Network of Therapeutic Equestrian Resources (CANTER) is a 501c(3) nonprofit that offers therapeutic riding supported by volunteers.
The Cochise Area Network of Therapeutic Equestrian Resources (CANTER) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit United Way organization that offers therapeutic riding. CANTER is accredited by NARHA, the national organization that sets the standards for therapeutic riding centers throughout the country. CANTER is one of only three Premier Accredited riding centers in the state of Arizona. Its Cochise County School District classes are held during the week. Private-pay lessons are offered on Saturdays. Silver Saddles (our program for riders age 60 and older) is currently offered on Thursdays. All but one of our staff are volunteers.
