About Mark Franks Consulting
Private consultancy specializing in human resource issues such as workplace violence prevention, safety/security policies and management training.
I became a consultant by accident, by solving problems for companies who had problems dealing with lawsuits and workplace morale after incidents of workplace violence. Once I've worked for a client on one issue, they typically ask me to do more, and so the problems/issues my clients face drives my consulting activity. Often I serve as a liasion between the company and law enforcement, during or in the aftermath of a workplace violence incident. I also write policies and procedures for companies who want a safer workplace, and my background in higher education makes me a natural for training supervisors and managers. I'm a one-man show basically, which I've found builds trust. I don't make promises and then send someone else in. I take total responsibility for the work I agree to do.
