Established in 1960 and 1956 respectively, the merger of the two companies became effective in Oct 2007. ABC and DuVal & Payne were established as family businesses changing hands outside the family only once, to the current CEO, Don Lenegar.
Don knew the vision he had for his own company when taking the reins of ABC upon the retirement of then CEO, Charlie Nissen, in 1998. In 2007 when Dickie Allen, CEO of DuVal & Payne, decided the time for retirement was at hand, the merger of the two companies was logical.
