About Rodeo Ford
Rodeo Ford was acquired by Earnhardt Auto Centers in the summer of 2010 (previously Pioneer Ford). We sell and service all Ford model vehicles.
Established in 1951
Tex Earnhardt and his father, Hal Earnhardt Sr., moved to Arizona in 1951, and they opened a small gas station in downtown Chandler. Soon after, Tex was awarded a Ford franchise. He was only 21 and was the youngest Ford franchise owner in the U.S. at the time. Earnhardt Ford grew and in 1980s, the Tex acquired several more automobile franchises and he became widely known for his great deals and as the cowboy car dealer who rode a bull in his commercials. Tex' trademark slogan "that ain't no bull" was the ultimate truth in advertising. The "bull" he rode in the commercials was really a steer.
