My love of wine is inherited from my Father. He began collecting wine in the early 1980's and changed my whole outlook with one simple glass. 1985 Heitz Martha's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. Easily considered the best Vintage made. I swirled; I sniffed; I sipped. My eyes lit up as I took in the miracle of a living, breathing entity. Wine...a living creature? Yes. Not just living, but constantly changing and evolving. Just as we humans grow, change, adapt, and evolve; so does wine. It is to be treasured and respected. It is a passion and an obsession. I have danced with wine in many ways: as a Wine Director at fine dining restaurants, as a Buyer, as a Distributor, as a Wholesaler, and as an Importer.
