Sotto Zero means "Below Zero" in Italian, and if you've visited the shop, you'll notice that the store theme stays true to the name. An icy blue coats the cinderblock walls, so that you can enjoy your tasty treats on a hot summer day inside of an igloo! Sotto Zero's mascot, Nino Il Pinguino, also adds to the "cool" factor.
Beyond 48 flavors of gelato, Giorgio also makes 32 flavors of American-style ice cream,16 flavors of Italian ice, soft ice cream, tiramisus, ice cream and gelato cakes, and other novelties such as ice cream sandwiches and chocolate covered bananas--all made on premises. Sotto Zero also offers a full espresso bar, where you can enjoy an espresso, cappuccino or latte.
