Lanci's Bakery has been a South Philadelphia landmark since 1921. Reopening in September, 2011, Lanci's is still family owned and operated, (we are into the 6th generation), and we are one of the last coal-fired brick oven bread bakeries left in Philadelphia.
Our retail bakery will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 6am to 6pm. We will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. We will deliver fresh baked bread to restaurants, deli's and retail stores near you on a daily basis.
We specialize in Italian breads. We are artisans and this is our craft. In the past, people would come from all over the city for our authentic, crusty, Italian bread that was always baked with love.
