About Wild Iris Purses & More
We started out selling handbags from China we new nothing about, like who made them and under what conditions. Then we discovered Fair Trade, etc.
Fair Trade, helping people in struggling countries make an honest dollar. Helping communities to provide schools, and learn a trade to help have a home and put food on the table without working in a sweat shop with child labor and making pennies a days. We also discovered local artists making a living by make jewelry and clothing right here in the Chicago area. So we buy from them and bring their talents to you. We also buy from GREEN companies right here in the USA that make their products from recycled materials. Some of our merchandise does come from China but they are reputable companies that do not run sweat shops or employ children. They are companies that are overseen by owners in the USA and that provide a decent wage, with normal working hours. We do everything we can to sta
