Providing individuals with mental health, substance abuse and/or co-existing psychiatric problems solutions for feelings of alienation, abandonment and self-loathing. Simultaneous treatment is necessary for the individual to recover from both disorders. The emphasis is to promote empowerment, confidence and an altruistic perspective thus allowing individuals to exhaust unhealthy patterns of behavior and awaken or reawaken a more productive and loving identity. Utilizes 12 step self help as one adjunct but also alternative treatment modalities such as Secular Organization for Sobriety or "Save Our Selves" for those who don't identify with the traditional 12 step Addiction treatment.. H.G.R., Inc. is is based on the belief that consumers' needs are of the utmost importance.
