FamilyCord is a cord blood bank operated by nationally renowned physicians that has provided stem cell services for 15 years.
Guided by world-class scientific expertise and medical ethics in everything it does, FamilyCord has extensive experience in clinical laboratory management, cord blood stem cell and cord tissue banking, and frozen tissue storage.
In addition to cord blood banking,FamilyCord offers the opportunity to bank stem cells from umbilical cord tissue, an excellent source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). Researchers have discovered that MSCs will play a major role in future clinical therapies using Regenerative Medicine. Trials are currently underway using MSCs to treat conditions ranging from heart disease and stroke to Parkinson's disease and spinal cord injury.
