A landmark being in business since 1952 has been recently (2007) bought, revamped and revitalized by Effie Clauser, a veteran of good value restaurants. As the name implies, the restaurant offer an extensive selection of steaks and seafood as well as several salads, its jewel being chef's salad. The grill - following old tradition - is in the front of the store and the chefs prepare the food in front of the customers. There is limited sitting around the granite furnished area where the grill is located for the patron to observe and enjoy the food preparation. Many daily specials are always in order on top of the extensive menu. Orders to go are welcome. The atmosphere in the main dining room is cozy and friendly.
