HealthLink was founded in 2001 to meet an unmet need, individuals who make too much to qualify for Medicaid and earn too little to be able to afford the cost of private health insurance. We serve people who work three part-time jobs just to make ends meet. Patients are coming in sicker, postponing treatment because they are working to pay bills and put food on the table. They present with a multitude of primary care issues that range from the common cold to heart disease. Compassionate care takes center stage at HealthLink with our team of dedicated professionals supplemented entirely by volunteers to create a fiscally responsible approach to primary care services.
