Dr. Mirkin is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is affiliated with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the Southern Medical Association, and the Missouri State Medical Association. Prior to entering into private practice, Dr. Mirkin served in the United States Navy as Lieutenant Commander and is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. He served as Staff Orthopaedic Surgeon of Long Beach Naval Hospital, Long Beach, California and Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He is fellowship trained in spine surgery.
