Canco General Contractors was formed in 1986 when we bought the Florida office of Carl A. Nelson and Company a 75 year old Midwest based general contracting firm. After acquiring the Florida office we continued to build the company's financial strength and respect as a design/ build contractor that allows our clients to save money on their projects by utilizing our expertise and experience early in the design phase of their project. In 2009, after 30 church projects, we started marketing our church building division as Church Builders Southeast. We continue doing church projects at a lower fee than our commercial work and God has continued blessing us with more and more churches. We are proud of the fact that over 20,000 people a week now meet in churches designed and built by our company
